2/25 – 2/27 – Springtime Made in the South, Savannah International Trade and Convention Center, Hutchinson Island (across the Savannah River from the historic district).

2/26 – 8:00 AM, 5th Annual Seacrest Partners Race for Preservation, Forsyth Park.

Annual 5/10K race with proceeds going to support the Historic Savannah Foundation. Race starts and finishes in picturesque Forsyth Park (just steps from the Catherine Ward House Inn), the course leads participants through 5 of Savannah’s historic districts. Register today at or

1/28 – 2/27 – “The Savannah Tenors in Concert,” The Historic Savannah Theatre, 222 Bull Street

FINAL weekend for The Historic Savannah Theatre’s production of The Savannah Tenors! Our Innkeeper attened this show and LOVED IT!

Dynamic voices blending music and comedy to produce a unique theatrical experience.  Their intense power and stunning harmonies are featured in every genre of music–from classical to current pop hits, including Danny Boy, Nessun Dorma, Music of the Night, Hey Jude and 25 more of the most inspiring songs of all time!

2/27 – 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tour d’Epicure, Trolley Tour of Savannah’s Finest Restaurants.

The inaugural event sold out so you will want to make your reservations now for the second annual Tour d’Epicure! Several trolleys filled with friends will crisscross the city making stops at Savannah’s finest restaurants, including Cha Bella, Elizabeth’s on 37th, Iocovozzi Fine Art Gallery, Leoci’s, Local 11 Ten, and Sol.  Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery is donating bottles from their newest line of Prosecco:  La Marca, for this year’s tour!

Each trolley will make a stop at locale and each locale will feature exclusive hors d’oeuvres, wine pairings and an original work by a local artist available by silent auction. All the trolleys will converge for a wrap party at Rocks on the Rooftop at the Bohemian.  This event is sure to satisfy your artistic and culinary appetites! Proceeds support initiatives to reduce childhood hunger in our community.

1/31 – 4/15 – “The Art of Faith Ringgold: Story Quilts and Freedom Quests,” SCAD Museum of Art, 227 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

A celebrated African American painter, mixed media sculptor, performance artist and illustrator, Faith Ringgold explores diverse art historical and cultural traditions as well as complex themes of freedom, feminism and race through her rich visual imagery. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
