1/28 – 2/27 – “The Savannah Tenors in Concert,” The Historic Savannah Theatre, 222 Bull Street

First weekend for The Historic Savannah Theatre’s production of The Savannah Tenors!

Dynamic voices blending music and comedy to produce a unique theatrical experience.  Their intense power and stunning harmonies are featured in every genre of music–from classical to current pop hits, including Danny Boy, Nessun Dorma, Music of the Night, Hey Jude and 25 more of the most inspiring songs of all time!

1/31 – “Faith Ringgold on Art: Story Quilts and Freedom Quests,” at Trustees Theater, 216 E. Broughton Street

Faith Ringgold, the celebrated African American painter, mixed media sculptor, performance artist and illustrator, has works in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum and numerous others. A book signing will follow the lecture, and an exhibition of the artist’s work will be on view at the SCAD Museum of Art. Lecture is free and open to the public. No ticket required.
