15 Minutes Away on Foot: Eat at Leoci’s Trattoria

November 22, 2010

This week, we highlight Leoci’s Trattoria, located at 606 Abercorn Street.

Described best as a cosmopolitan italian restaurant, this location is popular with locals and tourists alike. Because it is located just south Gaston Street (the north end of Forsyth Park), it is still relatively undiscovered by tourists – making it a major local hang-out. Reservations are always encouraged, as the main dining area and adjoining patio space is limited. The ambiance and food at Leoci’s is one that is suitable for casual dining and special moments – a hard balance that the restaurant manages quite nicely.

***A note for those traveling with dogs, Leoci’s patio (which is heated!) is dog-friendly.***

Leoci’s is open daily. Weekdays, hours are 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (or later). Weekends, hours are 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM (or later).

Getting to Leoci’s Trattoria from the Catherine Ward House Inn by foot is very easy. From door to door, it takes as little as 5-7 minutes to walk between the two.
